The sample consisted of two groups: the experimental group with(35) pupils and Control group with(35) pupils. In order to verify the aim ,the researcher put two null hypotheses. A Linguistic Intelligence test with (34) items. Its reliability and stability was verified .After the application on the sample and statistically analyzing the data using (t-test) of two independent and related samples ,the result showed statistically significant differences between the means of the experimental group that used Linguistic jokes and the Control group that used traditional method in the post test of Linguistic Intelligence in favor of the experimental group. The results also showed statistically significant differences between the means of the experimental group that used Linguistic jokes in the post test and the means of the same group in the post test and favor of the post test.

College Of Basic Education Researches Journal, Volume 14, Issue 3, Pages 45-62
DOI:

The linguists exaggerated in studying the metaphor that it considers the most important subject among other figurative types of Arabic language. The metaphor opens up different horizons of expression in front of writers so that they have many tools to write about one experience. It starts with the imagination to draw the logical as noticeable, the noticeable as audible and the audible as noticeable. All of these are inspiration factors the writer exploits in conveying the experience and passion into the reader. So, all the senses take part in realizing that image provided by the creative writer.
When we study the Arabic rhetoric, we find that we have to clarify the hidden phenomena that compatible with the rhetoric development of the creative works standard which intends to show the correlation between reality and metaphor.

College Of Basic Education Researches Journal, Volume 14, Issue 3, Pages 63-84
DOI:

There is no doubt that the study based on semantic fields is the focus of attracting the attention of scholars and care increases the Arabic lexicon is its field of study, for it depends on the arbitration of the meaning of words returning to their semantic fields. The Arabic lexicon is full of meanings that give the ability to select semantic fields in terms of words that share one meaning. We have chosen the Arabic lexicon which is (Almuhkam wa Almuheet Alaa'dham) by Ibn Seedah as a field for the study of the idioms "foolishness" because of the large number of words used and we have been careful in the selection of semantic fields which fall under each set of words after reading and compared with most of the Arabic dictionaries. Our work then was seeking the semantic connection between the meaning of idiocy represented by the lack of reason and weakness and the words that Ibn Seedah said by pointing to foolishness.

Then, it has tackled each word of the aya and shown its semantic meaning according to the dictionaries and the Arabic language books.
This research concludes that the term in the Glorious Quran needs a deep and comprehensive study in order to get the real knowledge about the Quranic term.

Simulation of using Optical grating in Dispersion compensation for Optical Fiber SMF

Duried Hazim Ahmad; Saba Maulood Sulayman

College Of Basic Education Researches Journal, Volume 14, Issue 3, Pages 321-340
DOI:

In this work, a Fiber Bragg Gratings ,"FBG" had been implemented using a package of Optisystem7 as a compensation component for the spreading of optical pulse width equal to12.5ps transmitted by single mode optical fiber having 10km length and dispersion 16ps/nm.km. Moreover, the ideal performance had been investigated by using the mean value of bit error rate and quality factor for fiber communication system having fiber length 100km and bit rate 10Gbps NRZ . Also, ideal fiber grating have been taken under consideration . The results of this study confirm the ability of FBG to act as a dispersion compensation while the ideal performance occurring at QF= 9.51 & BER = 8.7 10-22at compensation of -1600ps/nm for fiber length of 100km.

Develop new method to preparation of insect pheromones

Hussein Habeeb Mustafa

College Of Basic Education Researches Journal, Volume 14, Issue 3, Pages 341-361
DOI:

New and cheap synthetic method found for the preparation of lepidopteran pheromones which include navel orangeworm pheromones. The structure of these types of pheromones contains pentaene groups which are easier to be prepared through our pathway. These pheromones were synthesized by using directives ozonolysis of cyclonona-1,4,7-triene compounds, which are then converted to a Wittig salt which is using Wittig reaction for coupling with an aldehyde which prepared as a second product from the same ozonolysis step. These synthetic methods involve novel, efficient, and environmentally benign steps.
Keywords: Sex pheromones, (3Z,6Z,9Z,12Z,15Z)-pentacosapentaene, (3Z,6Z,9Z,12Z,15Z)-tricosapentaene, orangeworm and Ozonolysis
